Former Mossad Chief Dadi Barnea Joins Defense Firm Ondas
Former Mossad head Dadi Barnea has been appointed Global President of Ondas Defense and Chairman of the board at Ondas, a company specializing in autonomous defense technologies.
Two months after completing his tenure as head of the Mossad, Dadi Barnea is joining the defense technology company Ondas. The company, which is traded on NASDAQ, announced on Monday that Barnea has been appointed as the Global President of Ondas Defense and Chairman of the company.
Ondas is engaged in the development of autonomous systems for the security and defense sectors. Its activities focus on air defense systems, intelligence gathering, precision strike systems, unmanned ground vehicles, and artificial intelligence-based technologies.
Barnea, who served as head of the Mossad between 2021 and 2026 following a three-decade career in the organization, will be responsible for advancing the company's business and technological strategy, leading international operations, and overseeing acquisition and integration processes.
"I look forward to working with the company's team, supporting its global expansion, and assisting in the development of the next generation of multi-dimensional defense systems based on artificial intelligence," Barnea stated.
CEO Eric Brock noted that the former Mossad chief's experience is directly relevant to the next stage of Ondas's growth.
