Glilot Deal Collapses: Fiverr Will Not Move to Wix Campus
Following advanced negotiations to lease approximately 4,500 square meters at the Wix campus in Glilot, the deal has been canceled. Fiverr, whose current lease in Tel Aviv is nearing expiration, had been seeking larger office space, but its future plans remain uncertain.
The lease agreement under which Fiverr was set to move to the Wix campus in Glilot has been canceled, Globes has learned. This development removes one of the most prominent office real estate deals from the table, following reports by Globes last year that Fiverr was in talks to lease space within the complex.
Under the original plan, Fiverr was expected to lease approximately 4,500 square meters at the Wix campus, with an option for future expansion. The space was being offered by Wix as a sublease within its 60,000-square-meter campus in Glilot.
Fiverr currently operates out of Beit HaIkarim on Kaplan Street in Tel Aviv, occupying about 4,000 square meters. With its lease agreement nearing expiration, the company had been exploring a move to larger offices to accommodate its projected growth needs.
The Wix campus in Glilot was occupied in 2022 under a long-term lease agreement with Canada Israel. Approximately two years ago, Wix began offering a portion of the complex for sublease, totaling thousands of square meters, as part of an effort to adjust its real estate footprint in response to shifts in the office market. At this stage, it is unclear whether the parties will resume negotiations or if Fiverr will pursue an alternative real estate solution. No official details regarding the reason for the cancellation were provided.
