"Shoresy" on Cellcom TV follows an ice hockey player on a failing Canadian team that only knows how to lose. When the team's owner decides to disband the squad, Shoresy swears to her that they will never lose again, securing the chance he asked for to turn things around and put the team on a winning track.
Shoresy has his own unique ways of working and living: he has an especially foul mouth, he is loud, crude, and impatient, and the result is just like him—a wild and unapologetic comedy. It takes the viewer a little time to grasp the unusual nature of what is happening on screen and how the business is run, but from the moment you get used to Shoresy, the initial confusion is replaced by laughter. The series, all six episodes of which were released this week, has received strong reviews. Not everyone will be able to digest it, but those who do will surely love this cult hit.
