Police Reveal Identity of Suspect in Online Sexual Offenses Against Minors

Fadi Azar, a resident of central Israel in his 40s, has been identified as the suspect in a case involving online sexual offenses against minors, following the lifting of a publication ban on Thursday. As part of an investigation by Unit 105 of Lahav 433, more than 20 victims have been identified so far, and police believe there are others who have not yet come forward.

According to investigators, Azar impersonated a 16-year-old on TikTok and Instagram using another minor's photograph to establish contact with girls aged 11-15. The investigation suggests he operated this scheme for several years, between 2022 and 2025, committing sexual offenses online.

Azar has been released under restrictive conditions, including a ten-day house arrest and a 90-day restraining order prohibiting contact with minors or proximity to educational institutions, along with other legal guarantees.

Following the collection of evidence regarding allegations of sexual harassment and indecent acts, the case file is expected to be transferred to the State Attorney's Office.

Police are calling on anyone who has been harmed or was in contact with the suspect or the profiles he used to reach out to the 105 hotline.
