Haimonot Kasau's mother in tears: "Please help. It is hard for us and we are alone"
During her performance in Safed, children's star Miki Mohtar noticed the mother of the missing girl Haimonot Kasau, brought her up to the stage, and gave her the opportunity to convey a message to those present. Watch the moving documentation.
Children's star Miki Mohtar, known by her stage name "Miki Ma Nismiki", performed on Monday in Safed. During her performance, Mohtar noticed Benchi Kasau, the mother of Haimonot Kasau, who went missing in the city in February 2024 and has not been found since.
The star asked to stop the performance and brought the mother and her young daughter up to the stage. Benchi Kasau, who works tirelessly to locate her daughter who will soon celebrate her 12th birthday, addressed the audience and shared her feelings while asking for help and support from the citizens of Israel.
"Do you know Haimonot? She is a little girl, she was kidnapped. She is miserable, soon she will be at the age of mitzvah. Please help us. It is hard for us at home, everyone left and we are alone. Pray, do not forget Haimonot," the weeping mother pleaded.
Like the mothers present at the scene, Miki Mohtar burst into tears and wished the worried mother to find her daughter. "May the Name give you blessing and success, may you merit to hug your daughter. Thanks to the month of Elul, may we have salvations and mercy, may we have good things. There is not a day that your daughter is not in my prayers. I think about her. I wish for you that your heart will be happy. That you will merit to meet your daughter."
We remind you, Haimonot Kasau was last seen on February 25, 2024, near the absorption center where she lived. At the time of her disappearance, Haimonot was 9 years old. Moments before she disappeared, she went out with her friends to distribute flyers for one of the candidates in the local elections. She was documented on security cameras at the absorption center where she lived with her parents.
