Following a lavish wedding in Hadera, Muay Thai fighter Ahavat Hashem Gordon and his new wife, Oren Levi, are already planning their next celebration. Instead of returning immediately to their daily routine, the couple is set to board a plane in the coming days for a particularly indulgent honeymoon.
According to a report by Mako Celebs, the pair chose Zanzibar as their destination, where they plan to spend at least 12 days. The newlyweds are expected to stay at a resort in the Nungwi area, a region renowned for its white sandy beaches and clear waters.
Beyond the exotic location, the price tag of the vacation is also noteworthy. For 12 nights at the hotel alone—excluding flights, meals, entertainment, and other expenses—Gordon and his wife will pay approximately 20,000 shekels.
To this, the cost of airfare must be added. Round-trip tickets from Ben Gurion Airport to Zanzibar in September start at roughly 2,696 to 3,135 shekels for basic fares, though prices can climb significantly depending on travel dates and peak holiday periods.
In total, even before accounting for dining, attractions, and transfers, the couple is preparing to spend a substantial amount on their getaway. Should flight prices be higher, the total cost could reach 27,000 shekels or more.
