The cryptocurrency market closed on Monday under negative pressure, with most leading coins recording declines over the past 24 hours. Bitcoin, the largest and central coin in the market, is trading below the 78,000 dollar threshold, while in some cases, weekly declines are more significant and point to weakness that continues beyond the current trading day.

Bitcoin is trading at a price of 77,814.6 dollars, after a daily decline of 1.15%. Despite the short-term pressure, the weekly change is relatively moderate, standing at a decline of only 0.18%. The market cap of the coin is about 1.57 trillion dollars, continuing to reflect its dominance in the crypto market.

Ethereum also recorded a negative day, with a decline of 0.72% to a price of 2,449.28 dollars. Its market cap totals about 295.02 billion dollars. However, looking at the seven-day performance, the picture is different. Ethereum rose by 1.97%, becoming one of the most prominent coins for positive performance during the week among non-stable assets.

In the stablecoin category, Tether (USDt) is trading around 0.9998 dollars, almost unchanged, with a market cap of 183.36 billion dollars. USDC is trading around 1.0003 dollars with a market cap of 73.73 billion dollars. This is the only coin in the list that recorded a daily positive change, albeit a minimal 0.03%.

The one attracting attention on the negative side is XRP. The coin fell by 2.28% in the last day to a price of 1.3600 dollars, while its market cap stands at 86.03 billion dollars. In the weekly summary, the decline reaches 8.18%, a figure that makes it the most prominent loser in the recent period among leading coins.

BNB, the coin associated with the Binance exchange, is also struggling to recover. It fell by 1.48% to a price of 685.80 dollars, with a market cap of 91.48 billion dollars. During the last week, the coin lost 2.26% of its value.

The data illustrates a mixed picture in the market, as daily declines send most leading coins into negative territory, while in the weekly cross-section, there are significant gaps between the coins.
