The stormy confession of a porn star: "As long as it's filmed, everything is allowed"

Holly Jane Johnston, a 43-year-old adult content creator, knows her audience very well — and especially the men who share the screen with her. It turns out that most of her filming partners have a few common and surprising details: they are married (without their wives knowing), many of them come from a religious background, and almost all of them experience a storm of emotions and regret the moment the cameras turn off.

If you expected to find guilt in Johnston, think again. She herself is in a long-term relationship and is completely at peace with her work. "If it wasn't me, they would find someone else to film with, sleep with, or pay," she clarifies. "They are adults and they are responsible for what they do."

The real problem, according to her, begins when they finish filming. Some of the partners completely confuse a shooting day with the beginning of a romantic affair. When they discover that from her perspective it is pure business, disappointment arrives. "They are sure that I need them or want them," she says. "It's hard for them to digest that I used them for content — and moved on."

The complexity increases with religious men. The gap between faith and actions creates a heavy sense of guilt in them, and many of them try to reach out to her afterwards to unload their fears. However, Johnston doesn't really have the patience for a therapy session.

"They have a feeling that something bad is about to happen because that's how they were raised," she explains, and sets a sharp boundary: "So they want to talk about it, and I have to explain to them: you are boring me. I am not your psychologist."

Johnston's confessions have already caused a storm online: some users claimed that the responsibility lies entirely with the husbands who hide it from their wives, while others criticized Johnston herself for cooperating with such concealment.

Including other men in her content was not in the original plan at all. The change was born from the demands of the subscribers on her OnlyFans page, who made it clear that this is what would make them stay. And the result? A rapid jump in income.

Her life partner is fully supportive, understanding that it is a purely business decision. However, the two have one clear and rigid boundary: nothing happens under the radar. Everything that happens with another man must be documented. "Basically, everything is allowed as long as it's filmed," she notes.

From her perspective, it is an office job in every sense: "It's a game. You do what you have to, it ends, and I don't think about it a second later. I can turn it on and off like a switch — just like coming to the office and filing documents."

Unlike an industry that worships muscular and polished porn actors, Johnston prefers men with a "normal" look. The secret? Her viewers simply identify with them more. "When I film with someone who looks like a professional actor, the videos are less successful," she explains. "Whoever watches me is an average man, so I film with the average man."

However, finding that "average man" is not a simple task at all. Candidates are required to undergo medical tests, register on the platform, and undergo full identity verification — a hurdle that many prefer to skip.
