Israeli singer reveals: 'I had cancer, I have an exemption from the army'

Israeli singer Anne B was asked today (Wednesday) during a 'Q&A' session held on her Instagram account whether she is enlisting and where. In response, the young singer revealed: 'A few years ago I had cancer and therefore I have an exemption from the army, but despite the exemption, I chose to volunteer because it is very important to me to serve and contribute to my country.'

Later, she also shared about her connection to religion: 'I am very believing and I try to strengthen myself and make as many efforts as possible in my own way.' As mentioned, the young singer is the daughter of businessman and contractor Guy Blushinsky. From the beginning of her career, she faced criticism that her career relies on her father's money more than on 'natural' talent. Anne B herself addressed the public criticism directed at her and said that she is aware of what is being said – but she is not bothered by it. Over the years, she has tried to build a more mature image. The singer, who operates mainly in the Israeli teen pop genre, has performed, among other things, covers of classic Israeli songs and played a lead role in a movie.
