The beloved singer reveals her financial situation: "I am working another job"
Alongside the launch of her new album, musician Noy Fadlon shared candidly about the difficulties and the choice to work an additional job as a sales agent: "I want to raise my daughter with zero anxiety."
Singer and composer Noy Fadlon (32) broke through in 2019 with her debut single "Sweater," which became one of the most played songs on radio stations. In an interview with Maya Betzalel and Kuti Sabag on Kan Gimel, the beloved musician spoke about her new album, "NOY 2.0," which includes six different songs. At the same time, she shared the difficulties she faces alongside the intensive work on the album, and the decision to take an additional job for the well-being of her family.
"I am working another job today; I am also an employee, a kind of sales agent. I arrive at a coffee cart and my song is playing in the background," Noy Fadlon told Maya Betzalel and Kuti Sabag. The famous singer shared that she took the extra work to cover the costs of raising her daughter, who was born in December 2023.
As recalled, two months after she married her partner Topaz Ganor, the singer announced her first pregnancy. The pregnancy did not go smoothly, and in the sixth month, she had to be hospitalized. After weeks of hospitalization with a real danger to the fetus's life, the singer gave birth to her daughter in the 31st week of her pregnancy via an emergency cesarean section.
Against the backdrop of the many challenges she has gone through in her life and the desire to ensure a peaceful and calm life for her daughter, Noy Fadlon reached a significant decision:
"I want to raise my daughter with zero anxiety. When I was single, everything was fine. You wait for ACUM, you live carefree. Now, there is no such thing. You have kindergarten, you have rent, you have treatments."
Fadlon's new album contains six songs: "My Girl," "Stellas and a Flower," "My Beautiful, Have a Good Week," "Espresso," "Doctor," and "Mamo." In a post on Instagram, Noy Fadlon shared her feelings regarding the release: "I am really jealous of you that you are going to hear this for the first time. Almost a year of work in the studio on every word and sound. My whole journey in music is running through my head right now. I don't know why this time it feels different to me. Better. In the name of God, we will do and succeed."
