Milwaukee Bucks player Kyle Kuzma delivered a sharp message against Hamas and Iranian-backed terror following a pro-Palestinian protest in Mexico City. In a post shared on social media, Kuzma emphasized that compassion cannot be selective.
"If you believe Palestinians deserve freedom, say it clearly," Kuzma wrote. "Freedom from Hamas too. Freedom from Iranian-backed terror. Freedom from leaders who use civilians as shields. Compassion cannot be selective."
The remarks came amid a storm in Mexico following a demonstration in the Polanco neighborhood of Mexico City, where chants of "Jews out" and "Jews out of Mexico" were heard. Local Jewish community organizations strongly condemned the incident as antisemitic.
This is not the first time Kuzma, who is not Jewish, has spoken out. Following the October 7, 2023, attacks by Hamas, he expressed support for Israel. Kuzma previously played alongside Israeli player Deni Avdija in Washington and has maintained a public stance against antisemitism and terror.
