Kupa Rashit Season 6 Premiere Breaks Records with Massive Ratings on Kan 11
The sixth season premiere of the comedy hit "Kupa Rashit" on Kan 11 achieved historic ratings, drawing 489,000 viewers and dominating commercial competitors.
The Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation has achieved one of the most successful launch nights in its history. The sixth season of the beloved comedy "Kupa Rashit", which follows the employees and customers of a "Shefa Issachar" branch in Yavne—starring Keren Mor, Noa Koller, Dov Navon, and Amir Shorush—recorded the highest premiere rating in the show's history. Meanwhile, the new series "Anashim Shepagshti" also made a strong debut, maintaining the public broadcaster's positive momentum.
On the linear broadcast of Kan 11, the premiere episode garnered a 16.4% rating (489,000 viewers), marking a sharp 20% increase compared to the previous season's premiere in December 2024, which had reached 13.7%. Additionally, the series demonstrated unprecedented digital performance, recording nearly half a million views overnight across the Kan BOX platforms, YouTube, and the corporation's official website and app.
The massive ratings for "Kupa Rashit" left commercial competitors behind: Keshet 12 took second place in the time slot with a special interview yielding 12.6% (372,000 viewers). "HaPatriotim" on Channel 14 placed third with 7.3% (230,000 viewers), while Reshet 13 trailed behind with the broadcast of the film "HaHilula," which brought in just 3.7% (137,000 viewers).
Public broadcasting dominance continued into the second prime-time slot thanks to the launch of "Anashim Shepagshti." The touching docu-drama series, which closely follows fascinating and vulnerable human encounters in Israeli society, achieved an 8.6% linear rating (251,000 viewers) for its premiere episode, alongside approximately 90,000 additional digital views overnight.
The figures for "Anashim Shepagshti" were enough to outperform Keshet 12's program "Intimi," which reached 7.0% (217,000 viewers). Channel 14 finished third in this slot with 5.7% for the program "Siha," while Reshet 13 remained at the bottom with a compilation of "HaTinor," gathering just 2.8%.
