Education Minister Yoav Kisch sent a legal warning letter on Sunday morning to former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, demanding a retraction of statements made during an interview on Channel 12 on October 16. In the letter, sent via attorneys Amit Hadad and Noa Milstein, Kisch argues that Bennett's remarks constitute defamation and false publication harming his reputation.

During the interview, Bennett referred to Likud voters by stating they do not like evasion, the corruption of Miri Regev and Yoav Kisch, extremism, and the lack of accountability. According to the warning letter, these statements attribute corruption, extremism, and lack of responsibility to Kisch without factual basis, aiming to damage his public standing.

The letter demands that Bennett publish a clear public apology on the same platform where the statements were made, and transfer 30,000 shekels as a donation to an association approved by Kisch. Bennett has been given seven days to comply with the demands, failing which Kisch reserves the right to initiate legal proceedings under the Defamation Prohibition Law.
