Kim Or Azulai Opens Up About the Realities of Public Breastfeeding
New mom Kim Or Azulai is opening up about overcoming her fear of breastfeeding in public, sharing her personal journey from home isolation to nursing comfortably in stores and on television.

Kim Or Azulai is opening up to her followers about the raw realities of new motherhood, focusing on a challenge that once felt entirely out of reach: breastfeeding in public. The star recently shared a candid moment on social media, documenting herself nursing comfortably inside a store—a scenario she admitted previously felt almost unimaginable.
Overcoming the Fear of Nursing in Public
In her recent Instagram stories, Azulai reflected on how far she has come since giving birth. "If someone had told me I would just sit here comfortably in a store and nurse, I would have thought it was crazy," she shared with her followers. While the transition was daunting, her openness has sparked widespread conversations online, drawing both supportive messages and occasional pushback.
"I will mention this 38,397 times again and again, because it didn't come easily to me at all," Azulai hit back at a critic who complained about her frequent posts.
Bringing the Conversation to Television
The topic soon moved beyond social media and straight into the television studio. During an episode of Loop, the new program she co-hosts alongside Shai-Lee Shindler on the newly launched Channel 16, Azulai revisited her initial anxieties. She confessed that early on, the fear of needing to nurse outside kept her confined to her home.
-
Initial stage: Severe anxiety about leaving the house without a private nursing space.
-
Progress: Successfully nursing in public stores and retail spaces.
-
Television boundary: Declining to nurse live on air, calling it too cumbersome for a broadcast.
Although she drew a firm line at nursing live in front of the television cameras during Loop, joking that it was simply too complicated, Azulai did not entirely rule out the possibility of nursing backstage during upcoming live stage productions. Her honest, unfiltered approach continues to resonate with young mothers across the country.
