A tense overnight strike hit Kharkiv, Ukraine, as a Russian missile struck very close to the Ohr Avner Chabad Jewish school. The powerful blast shook the area, and thick smoke covered the scene.

Minimal Damage to School

According to the school security guard, the building itself sustained no direct damage, and miraculously there were no casualties within the educational institution. However, the impact in the neighborhood caused significant destruction in the immediate radius.

Kharkiv's mayor issued an urgent update stating that rescue forces are working to extract citizens trapped under the rubble of nearby buildings. Jewish community volunteers are actively assisting the rescue efforts.

Resilience Under Fire

This attack follows a particularly difficult weekend marked by severe strikes on residential areas. Despite ongoing danger, the local Jewish community demonstrated exceptional resilience, sending volunteers to assist affected residents.

"The school will open tomorrow morning as usual," declared Rabbi Moshe Moskovitz.

Local rescue forces and community volunteers continue to search the area for survivors.
