Iran's Supreme Leader Marks Anniversary of Hassan Nasrallah's Death

Iran's Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, issued a statement on Monday marking the second anniversary of the assassination of former Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah. In the message, coinciding with the regime's "Holy Defense Week," Khamenei lauded Nasrallah as the "heroic emir of the Arabs and the great symbol of the resistance front."

Khamenei asserted that Nasrallah elevated Lebanon's status and claimed that no figure of comparable stature has emerged in the region throughout history. He also praised Nasrallah's successor, Naim Qassem, stating that he continues on the same path at the head of Hezbollah's ranks.

Addressing geopolitical tensions, the Iranian leader warned against relying on the "Zionist enemy" and referenced the Strait of Hormuz. Khamenei claimed that foreign forces no longer dare to approach beyond the Arabian Sea and warned that the Arabian Sea will soon be cleared of them entirely.
