Three Kindergarten Assistants Arrested in Sharon Region for Toddler Abuse
Three kindergarten assistants in the Sharon region were arrested following a covert police investigation into suspected abuse and violence against toddlers at a local facility.
Three kindergarten assistants from the Sharon region were arrested yesterday (Tuesday) on suspicion of abusing and assaulting toddlers. Investigators from the Kfar Saba police station launched a covert investigation following a report about an 11-month-old toddler brought to Meir Medical Center with an ear injury.
Police investigators conducted investigative procedures that included technological means and footage from the kindergarten. The findings raised suspicion of multiple incidents of violence against toddlers at the facility.
According to the suspicion, the assistants forcefully lifted toddlers and slammed them onto the floor, pulled their ears, and threw objects at them. Station officers arrested three kindergarten assistants, residents of Raanana in their 30s and 50s, after an evidentiary foundation was established against them. The suspects will be brought to court this morning for a request to extend their detention.
