Keren Hayesod Chairman Resigns Amid Political Pressure Scandal
Keren Hayesod Chairman Eli Vered Hazan has announced his resignation amid a political uproar over alleged pressure to appoint former MK Osant Mark.

Eli Vered Hazan, chairman of Keren Hayesod, announced his resignation following political pressure to appoint former MK Osnat Mark as his chief of staff.
According to reports, the pressure was allegedly exerted by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's wife, Sara Netanyahu. Vered Hazan, who recently served as Israel's ambassador to Singapore, informed the board of directors that he would soon step down from his post just weeks after taking office.
Osnat Mark previously denied the allegations, threatening legal action over defamation, while Likud dismissed the reports as a malicious fabrication intended to undermine the right-wing government.
