Kate Middleton Returns to London Hospital Where She Received Cancer Treatment

Princess of Wales Kate Middleton returned to the Royal Marsden Hospital in London, where she received cancer treatment, to visit current patients and review plans for a new holistic recovery center. The visit followed her completion of the Three Peaks Challenge in June, where she climbed Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon within 24 hours to raise funds for the hospital's charity.

A Personal Return

During her visit, Kate spoke with patients undergoing treatment and met with medical staff. Reflecting on her own journey following her cancer diagnosis in 2024 and subsequent preventive chemotherapy, she expressed deep gratitude to the hospital staff.

"This is my small way of giving back and saying thank you to you all. I received incredible care and support here from such a large team, and on a personal level, I am truly grateful," Kate said during the visit.

She also emphasized the importance of holistic care, noting that nature, good nutrition, and continuous support have a massive impact during difficult medical treatments.

Funding Holistic Recovery

The funds raised through the Three Peaks Challenge will support the establishment of a new center specializing in well-being and holistic recovery. Kate toured the proposed site for the new facility, accompanied by plans for future development.

Part of the raised funds will also support research examining how integrating holistic approaches alongside clinical care can benefit cancer patients across Britain. Since 2025, Kate has served as joint patron of the Royal Marsden Hospital Foundation, further formalizing her ties with the institution.
