Ex-Playboy Playmate Karissa Shannon Confirms Hefner Coercion Claims
Former Playboy Playmate Karissa Shannon confirms that Hugh Hefner pressured her and her twin sister into incestuous acts, revealing they faked the encounters to survive.

Former Playboy Playmate Karissa Shannon is breaking her silence to address allegations that magazine founder Hugh Hefner pressured her and her twin sister, Kristina, into incestuous sexual acts. In a recent interview, Karissa confirmed that harrowing claims made by Hefner's widow, Crystal Harris, are largely accurate regarding the oppressive atmosphere inside the infamous Los Angeles mansion.
Karissa, now 37, recalled that she and her sister lived at the estate from ages 18 to 20. She stated that Hefner repeatedly attempted to coerce them into engaging in sexual acts with one another. However, she emphasized that they never actually crossed that boundary. They merely pretended, creating an elaborate ruse to survive the ordeal while Hefner remained blissfully unaware, believing the performances were genuine and taking immense pleasure in them.
Surviving the Mansion and Industry Scrutiny
Reflecting on the psychological toll, Karissa noted that she and her sister were young and easily influenced, yet aligned in their determination to fake the encounters. This coercion extended to a forced threesome on their 19th birthday. She expressed surprise at the public shock surrounding these revelations, pointing out that she had previously described her experiences with Hefner as feeling akin to sexual assault and rape.
Karissa also touched upon the plight of other former residents, such as the Bentley twins, expressing deep sympathy for women who inhabited the mansion during earlier, stricter eras. Beyond the mansion, the Shannon sisters spent nearly a decade working in the adult entertainment industry—a path Kristina previously described as a means of survival. Today, the sisters have drifted apart and no longer work together as a duo.
