US authorities arrested a 24-year-old Kansas man for posting online threats against Donald Trump ahead of a political rally, federal officials reported.

Law enforcement authorities in the USA have arrested a 24-year-old man from Kansas following a series of online threats targeting Donald Trump, Fox News reported.
Arrest in Kansas
The suspect, identified as Jaden Reed from the town of Clearwater, was taken into custody over the weekend. According to the US Department of Justice, the arrest followed an anonymous tip regarding threatening comments left on a local television station's Facebook page ahead of a political rally.
In his posts, Reed explicitly discussed acquiring ammunition and mapped out surrounding rooftops near the venue. Prosecutors emphasized that while the First Amendment protects sharp disagreement, direct threats of violence cross a legal line.
Security and Legal Proceedings
Donald Trump proceeded with his scheduled appearance near Wichita, expressing support for Republican candidates. Meanwhile, Reed remains in federal custody pending further court hearings as federal law enforcement investigates the incident.
