Three years after the devastating terror attacks of October 7 and the outbreak of the Iron Swords war, the Israeli public broadcaster Kan News is preparing a comprehensive series of special broadcasts, investigations, and dedicated projects. The programming will air across television channels and Reshet Bet radio, focusing on the human toll, resilience, and the ongoing aftermath of the tragedy.

Special Programming and Personal Stories

A centerpiece of the commemorative broadcasts is a three-part special series hosted by Tali Moreno, airing on the main Kan News edition. Moreno revisits families of hostages who spent months fighting tirelessly on the front lines for the return of their loved ones, examining how their lives have transformed since the return home and whether true routine has been restored.

"How do lives look today, after months and years of pausing careers, routines, and personal lives to fight for the return of your dearest?" asks Tali Moreno in her gripping television series.

Commemorative Projects and Radio Broadcasts

Alongside television features, Kan News will air new clips from the "Unforgettable" memorial project, honoring those fallen and murdered since October 7. Reshet Bet will also broadcast live special coverages from the field, including a special broadcast from Kfar Aza hosted by Esti Perez, and programs addressing wounded soldiers and parenting soldiers during three years of combat.

  • Special broadcast from Kfar Aza with bereaved families and survivors.

  • "Seven Questions in October" hosted by Chen Liberman and Gili Cohen.

  • Special live coverage from Yarkon Park leading up to the national families' ceremony.
