Kan 11 Dominates TV Ratings With Hit Comedy Premiere and Late-Night Success
Kan 11 triumphed in the TV ratings as the premiere of "Kupa Rashit" dominated prime time with 16.4% and 489,000 viewers, easily beating Keshet 12 and other competing channels.
Kan 11 stormed the television ratings with the much-anticipated premiere of the hit comedy series "Kupa Rashit", pulling in an impressive 16.4% rating and 489,000 viewers. This dominant performance decisively outperformed Keshet 12, which settled for second place with a special interview that garnered 12.6% and 372,000 viewers. Channel 14's "HaPatriotim" secured third place with 7.3%, while Reshet 13 lagged behind with the broadcast of the film "Hilula", capturing just 3.7% of the audience.
The public broadcaster's winning streak continued into the late-night slot as the premiere of "Anashim ShePagshati" scored an 8.6% rating with 251,000 viewers, defeating Keshet 12's "Intimi" which reached 7.0%. Channel 14 followed with 5.7% for its program "Sicha", and Reshet 13 wrapped up the late-night lineup with a rerun of "HaTinor" at 2.8%.
In the prime-time news race, Channel 12 maintained its steady lead as Advah Dadon anchored the central edition to a 12.6% rating and 361,000 viewers. Channel 14's holiday-eve edition, presented by Lital Shemesh, took second place with 5.5%, while Kan 11's newscast hosted by Tali Moreno came in third with 4.3%, narrowly edging out Reshet 13's edition presented by Noga Nir Naaman, which finished at the bottom with 3.8%.
Earlier in the evening at 19:00, Liron Zaid and Keshet 12 led comfortably with a 9.0% rating. A rebroadcast of a special interview with President Isaac Herzog on Channel 14 brought in 3.7%, a special edition on Reshet 13 achieved 2.9%, and Kan 11's early evening news with Yifat Glick rounded out the table with 1.5%.
