The media company of US President Donald Trump, Trump Media & Technology Group, which operates the social network Truth Social, is launching a new business initiative aimed directly at the financial market. The company is offering traders, banks, and hedge funds a new service called "Truth API," which will allow them to gain rapid access to Donald Trump's posts and analyze them using automated systems.

According to a Reuters report, the price of the premium service could reach between $60,000 and $100,000 per month. The high cost is attributed to the significant impact that Donald Trump's publications have on the markets. His messages regarding policy, tariffs, and trade restrictions have historically led to sharp fluctuations in indices and stocks. For traders utilizing high-frequency algorithms, receiving information even a short time before competitors holds significant value, a factor equally relevant to participants on Polymarket.

For Trump Media & Technology Group, this represents an attempt to generate new revenue streams through data licensing while facing intense competition from major social media platforms.

However, the move has sparked public and political criticism. Opponents argue that selling early access to presidential messages grants an unfair advantage to large financial entities. The Senate Banking Committee has reached out to the Chairman of the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Paul Atkins, demanding an investigation into the service's compliance with legal requirements.

At the center of the controversy is the fact that Donald Trump holds approximately 41% of the company's shares. Critics contend that this arrangement raises serious ethical concerns regarding conflicts of interest and the influence of political communication on financial markets.
