Judy Nir Mozes Sparks Online Outrage Over Weight Comments Before TV Debut
Judith Nir Mozes stirred controversy ahead of her reality TV debut by claiming she would advise overweight people to diet, prompting a witty clapback from social media star Oren Lahav.

Judith Nir Mozes sparked a major social media storm ahead of her appearance on the culinary show "MKR Israel" by declaring that she would gently advise an overweight person to go on a diet. Her comments quickly drew public backlash, including a sharp and humorous response from social media star Oren Lahav.
In an Instagram video addressing Nir Mozes directly, Lahav flaunted his physique with wit. "Hello Judith, it's the guy with the pretty face you said you'd politely advise. I'm here with my belly that feeds restaurants. So we'll keep feeding restaurants, eating and enjoying life. What do you say? I'm inviting you to a restaurant, on me," he stated.
Nir Mozes is set to compete on the reality cooking show alongside former journalist and close friend Ron Levin. During the controversial conversation that preceded the premiere, she defended her outspoken nature by explaining her intention to help others.
"I don't want to hurt people, but if I see someone fat, I'll tell them after half an hour, not the moment I meet them. I'll say 'You have a pretty face, why don't you do a diet?' gently. I came to do good in the world, and I do push my nose into things," she remarked during the discussion.
