Grey's Anatomy Star Jesse Williams Welcomes First Child with Wife Alejandra Onieva
Grey's Anatomy star Jesse Williams and his wife, Spanish actress Alejandra Onieva, have welcomed their first child together. The couple, who secretly married earlier this year, shared the joyful news on social media.

Four months after announcing their first pregnancy, Grey's Anatomy star Jesse Williams and his new wife, Spanish actress Alejandra Onieva, have welcomed their first child together, making it the third child for the 45-year-old actor.
A Playful Announcement
Williams took to his Instagram account to share a playful video of himself handling baby bottles in the refrigerator while Onieva, 34, spoke in Spanish in the background. In the clip, Williams jokingly tells her, "English, English, right? I want my son to speak English. It's bad enough he's named Hector," quoting Spike Lee's classic film Do the Right Thing. While the joke left fans wondering if Hector was indeed the chosen name, Onieva quickly cleared up the speculation by reposting the video to her Instagram story, followed by an official confirmation featuring a sweet photo of their newborn's tiny feet wearing one gray and one pink sock.
"English, English, right? I want my son to speak English," Williams joked in the video.
A Quiet Romance
The couple first met while co-starring in the series Costa Rica Hotel, filmed in Italy in 2025. They managed to keep their romance largely out of the spotlight until May, when news broke that they had secretly tied the knot earlier in the year in an intimate ceremony.
Williams was previously married to real estate broker Aryn Drake-Lee, whom he met in 2007. The former couple shares two children, Sadie and Maceo, but their marriage ended in a bitter divorce finalized in 2019, followed by years of highly publicized custody and financial battles.
