Jerusalem: 17-Year-Old Girl in Serious Condition After Workout Collapse
A 17-year-old girl was evacuated to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in serious condition after losing consciousness during a workout in Jerusalem, MDA medics reported.
A 17-year-old girl was evacuated in critical condition today (Sunday) to the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem after losing consciousness during a physical workout in the city.
The incident was reported at 17:06 to the Magen David Adom (MDA) 101 dispatch center in the Jerusalem region. Medics and paramedics who rushed to the scene provided medical treatment that included administering medications and oxygen, and evacuated her in an intensive care ambulance to the hospital.
MDA paramedic Naama Leibovitz and her husband, senior MDA medic Shlomi Leibovitz, recounted: "When we arrived at the scene, we noticed the girl was in a semi-conscious state following athletic activity. We understood her critical condition and began providing medical treatment that included medications and oxygen, after which she was evacuated in an MDA intensive care ambulance to the hospital in a serious yet stable condition."
