Jerusalem Launches Tender to Integrate New Immigrants into Local High-Tech
The Jerusalem Development Authority has launched a tender to recruit and place new immigrants into the city's growing high-tech sector, requiring experienced agencies to source tech talent from abroad.
The Jerusalem Development Authority has launched a new tender for recruitment and placement services to integrate new immigrants into high-tech companies operating in the city. The initiative seeks a professional entity to identify candidates with relevant academic and professional backgrounds, connect them with Jerusalem tech firms, and assist their integration into the local labor market.
The selected organization will operate both in Israel and in the immigrants' countries of origin, identifying candidates prior to their arrival through job fairs, personal counseling, and other activities. Strict threshold conditions include a track record of at least 50 placements of immigrants in Israeli technology companies since 2022, alongside 10 employment-related activities for prospective immigrant candidates abroad during the same period.
"Jerusalem is undergoing tremendous development, and its high-tech industry needs talented individuals to join," said Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Lion. "This move connects two vital national and local missions: Aliyah absorption and strengthening the city's economy and innovation."
Jerusalem Development Authority CEO Tzachi Namir added: "Aliyah is not just moving to a new country, but an opportunity to start a new chapter. We want to ensure that for skilled high-tech professionals, Jerusalem becomes part of that chapter by bringing quality human capital from overseas."
