Jerusalem Shooting Victim Dies as Police Investigate Spate of Violent Crime

A man critically wounded in a shooting incident in the Abu Tor neighborhood of Jerusalem overnight has died of his injuries at the hospital. Four other men sustained varying degrees of injuries and were evacuated for medical treatment. Police assess that the background to the incident is a family feud.

Officers from the Oz police station and forensic investigators from the Jerusalem District arrived at the scene, collected evidence, and opened an investigation. Kedem District Commander, Deputy Superintendent Yaniv Moyal, arrived at the scene and held a special situational assessment. At this stage, no arrests have been reported and the investigation continues.

Another murder case occurred this week in Rahat, where Musa Youssef Al-Jabour was shot dead near his home. Police are investigating suspicions that he was shot inside his house by a relative, dragged outside, and struck by a vehicle. Investigators are currently gathering evidence and testimonies to determine the full circumstances of the killing.
