'I will plant an explosive device for them': Indictment against a minor who threatened a terror attack

The Central District Attorney's Office filed an indictment today, Thursday, in the Juvenile Magistrate's Court against a minor aged approximately 15.5 from the center of the country, for threatening to commit a terrorist act.

According to the indictment, at the beginning of the month, the minor uploaded a video to a WhatsApp group dedicated to dog breeding, in which he documented a military vehicle near a cowshed and added: 'Here the army has arrived, may God shame them.'

Immediately afterward, the minor detailed his intentions to carry out an attack against the security forces. In a voice message he recorded for the group members, he said: 'I feel like planting an explosive device for them, I know where they are sitting... I will place an explosive device under each one, and may God be with them.' Although one of the participants in the group warned him that his words could lead to a report and arrests, the minor was not deterred and sent another voice message in which he threatened: 'I will blow them up with an explosive device, soon... wait a little longer, Allah's gifts will be theirs.'

Following these serious threats, one of the group members turned directly to the police to file a complaint. The police investigation led to the arrest of the teenager and the filing of the indictment, which charges him with offenses related to threatening a terrorist act on an open civilian platform.
