Jaffa Resident Charged with 22 Thefts from Tel Aviv Businesses

A 50-year-old resident of Jaffa has been charged with a string of 22 thefts from businesses across Tel Aviv, involving bags filled with food and beverages taken without payment.

According to the Israel Police, the suspect repeatedly targeted commercial establishments in recent months, walking out with large quantities of merchandise. In some instances, employees attempted to stop him, leading to attempts to flee the scene.

Following an investigation led by the Lev Tel Aviv police station, an indictment featuring 22 counts of theft and attempted theft was filed by the Tel Aviv District Police prosecution unit. Authorities have also requested his detention until the conclusion of legal proceedings.
