Why Itamar Fleischman Left Channel 14's 'The Patriots' Panel
Itamar Fleischman clarifies that his departure from Channel 14's "The Patriots" panel resulted from format differences and family time, denying any personal dispute with host Yinon Magal.

The departure of Itamar Fleischman from the panel of the Channel 14 program "The Patriots" sparked widespread questions among viewers, prompting him to clarify that his exit stemmed from professional differences and lifestyle choices rather than any personal fallout with host Yinon Magal.
Speaking on the "Tzemed Reim" podcast produced by NVP, host Noam Fathi noted that the audience has been left wondering about the sudden change. Fleischman firmly dismissed rumors of a heated dispute, affirming his ongoing friendship with Magal. "Yinon remains a friend of mine, and that is that," he said, adding that he would defend Magal against public criticism.
Addressing the behind-the-scenes dynamics, Fleischman explained that the disagreement centers on editorial perspectives regarding the show's format rather than personal animosity. "There is no fight. There are certain disagreements about how we view the reality of the program, not the reality of the world, which currently prevents me from continuing," he noted.
Beyond professional disparities, burnout and family considerations played a pivotal role in his decision after eight years on the broadcast. Leaving the late-night schedule allows him to spend precious evenings at home. Fathi joked about the dramatic shift in routine, suggesting a part-time return, to which Fleischman replied that financial realities and family obligations require careful balancing.
