A delegation of approximately 100 students and staff members from Israel arrived in Poland only to find themselves stranded without their luggage and personal belongings.

The chain of events began at the Israeli airport, where the flight was delayed by about an hour and a half due to baggage loading issues. Despite the delay, a decision was reportedly made to take off for Poland while leaving the luggage behind.

Upon landing in Poland, the delegation members discovered they lacked basic necessities for the journey, including underwear, socks, and hygiene products. The group is currently trying to cope with the severe shortage while abroad.

A staff member expressed her frustration, stating: "It is unclear why the loaders refused to load the bags. We are left without clothes for the children, medications, or hygiene items. Instead of focusing on the educational journey, we are busy finding supermarkets and shops to buy essentials, all while dealing with complex security arrangements."

She added: "The feeling is very frustrating. We prepared for months for this journey, and now we are busy gathering basic supplies for the students. Yesterday we already missed visiting sites because we had to buy coats and underwear for 100 students."
