Israeli Influencer Spat On and Abused in Shocking Antisemitic Attack Abroad
An Israeli influencer faced severe antisemitic abuse and was spat on by an airport employee abroad after asking for travel assistance, followed by a sudden flight cancellation.
An ordinary request for assistance with a flight ticket at a foreign airport quickly escalated into a violent antisemitic incident when an employee discovered that an Israeli social media influencer, known as Almokis, was from Israel. Upon learning her nationality, the clerk began hurling insults, shouting pro-Palestinian slogans, and spat directly on her.
Following the shocking assault, Almokis took to Instagram to share her trauma and disbelief with her followers, posting footage that showed the ticket counter where the remnants of the spit remained. "Listen, I am completely shocked, I have never seen such antisemitism in my life," she shared. "A person physically asked where I am from because I asked for help with my flight ticket, he heard I am from Israel and spat on me. Physically spat and cursed me like I have never been cursed before, I am simply speechless.
The terror did not end with the physical assault. Later that night, Almokis updated her followers that her return flight to Israel had been abruptly cancelled, leaving stranded Israeli passengers without hotel accommodations or immediate assistance. Describing the ordeal as the worst night of her life, she noted that the stranded travelers had banded together through a messaging group to cope with the chaotic situation at the terminal.
