Israeli Security Forces Foiled Terror Plot Targeting Amdocs Data Center
Israeli police and the Shin Bet arrested a 19-year-old Kafr Qasim resident who allegedly planned to bomb an Amdocs data center after contacting Hamas and Iranian operatives.
Israeli security forces arrested a 19-year-old resident of Kafr Qasim who allegedly planned a terror attack against an Amdocs data center.
According to the Shin Bet and the Israel Police, the suspect, Mustafa Issa, served as a firefighter in the national service program. Investigators revealed that since October 7, he sought ways to carry out attacks and utilized his official access to sensitive sites, including an Amdocs data center. Issa allegedly researched explosive device manufacturing, watched ISIS instructional videos, and planned to plant a bomb at the facility.
The investigation further revealed that Issa attempted to manufacture explosives himself and tried to recruit accomplices. He also established contact with Hamas operatives and Iranian intelligence agents. Following his arrest, authorities seized training equipment and airsoft weapons. A prosecutor's statement was filed at the Lod District Court ahead of a formal indictment.
