Israel's list of wealthiest individuals continues to feature prominent figures from the global business arena, with top spots held by magnates boasting fortunes in the billions of dollars. This week brought an intriguing shift to the rankings.

In first place stands Eyal Ofer, with an estimated fortune of $34.8 billion. Ofer, the son of the late shipping tycoon Sammy Ofer and brother of Idan Ofer, is an international businessman heading the Ofer Global group. The group's activities span various sectors, including shipping via Zodiac, real estate through Global Holdings, energy, technology, and banking. Among other assets, Ofer is a prominent shareholder in Mizrahi-Tefahot Bank.

The Ofer Brothers Take the Top Two Spots

In second place is his brother, Idan Ofer, with an estimated fortune of $32.2 billion. Idan Ofer heads the Quantum Pacific group and controls Israel Corporation, through which he holds major companies including ICL and Bazan Group. Alongside his business activities in Israel, Ofer has extensive operations in shipping, investments in energy and technology, and sports holdings, including the Atlético Madrid football club. This week, he surpassed Miriam Adelson, now ranking second and standing alongside his brother as the two wealthiest individuals in Israel.

Adelson holds the third spot with an estimated fortune of $32.1 billion. She is a physician, philanthropist, and the widow of American-Jewish businessman Sheldon Adelson. Following his death, she inherited control of the Las Vegas Sands casino and resort empire. In Israel, she is also known as the owner and publisher of the newspaper Israel Hayom. Additionally, she holds a majority stake in the Dallas Mavericks NBA basketball franchise.

Tech Founders and Industrial Dynasties

In fourth place are brothers Dmitry and Igor Bukhman, with a combined fortune estimated at $13.6 billion. The two, Russian-born Israeli citizens, are the founders and owners of Playrix, one of the world's leading mobile gaming companies. The company is renowned for games such as Homescapes and Gardenscapes. The brothers began their journey developing games independently in Vologda, Russia, later transforming their venture into an international technology enterprise.

Rounding out the top five is the Federman family, with an estimated fortune of $9.7 billion. Michael (Mickey) Federman heads the Federman Enterprises group, which over the years has become one of the business conglomerates most closely associated with the family. Among its core assets are a controlling stake in Elbit Systems, one of Israel's defense industry giants, and the Dan Hotels chain. The family's operations span diverse fields, with defense manufacturing and hospitality forming the backbone of its recognized holdings.
