Israel Railways announced infrastructure upgrades and critical track safety works in the Rishon LeZion area, scheduled for October 28–29, 2026.

Due to these works, train frequencies during peak hours will be temporarily reduced along the Sharon Ring, Bat Yam, Holon, and Rishon LeZion Moshe Dayan lines, dropping to two trains per hour instead of the usual three to four.

Simultaneously, supplemental operational measures will be implemented. Additional temporary stops at Holon and Bat Yam stations will be added to select Beersheba Center–Herzliya line services to assist affected commuters.
