Following the exit polls in Israel, political leaders have reacted sharply to the initial projections, which point to a complex parliamentary landscape and a tight race. Gadi Eisenkot, leader of the Yashar! party, stated that the preliminary results reflect a total lack of confidence in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the government associated with the events of October 7.

"These initial exit poll results indicate an absolute lack of trust in Netanyahu and the October 7 government by the Zionist majority and most Israeli citizens," Eisenkot declared, adding that he will act immediately to implement the public decision, replace the current administration, and establish a Zionist coalition government.

Opposition leader Yair Lapid echoed these sentiments, asserting that the right-wing bloc led by Netanyahu has suffered a heavy defeat. According to Lapid, the projections show a complete collapse, with the public demanding a change in leadership.

Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar urged caution regarding premature conclusions. Sa'ar emphasized that celebrations on the political left are premature and maintained that Likud remains the largest political party in the country, dismissing partisan commentary.

In addition, Yoaz Hendel, head of the reservists' movement whose party hovered near the electoral threshold in the polls, expressed confidence in the final count. Hendel stressed that absentee and soldier ballots, yet to be fully tabulated, would prove crucial as the night progressed.
