Supermarket Chains Disrupt Israel's iPhone 18 Market With Lower Prices
Supermarket chains in Israel are entering the mobile market with aggressive pricing for the new iPhone 18 Pro, undercutting traditional electronics retailers by hundreds of shekels.

The launch of the iPhone 18 series continues to generate buzz in Israel, as competition for consumer wallets expands beyond electronics and mobile chains into major supermarket networks.
Data from the Retail Research Institute presented on i24NEWS, examining where it is most cost-effective to purchase the iPhone 18 Pro 256GB, reveals significant price gaps between retailers. Yohananof ranks as the cheapest network tested, offering the device at 4,250 NIS.
Victory follows in second place, selling the device for 4,399 NIS, while Osher Ad rounds out the list with a price of 4,490 NIS. Consequently, the price gap between the cheapest and most expensive supermarket networks in this survey reaches 240 NIS.
The launch of the new iPhone 18 lineup in Israel was marked by record demand and massive lines at branches, with official distributors and major electronics chains setting significantly higher price points. For example, the iPhone 18 Pro 256GB costs 5,029 NIS at Mahsanei Chashmal, while at iDigital the same model reaches 5,449 NIS.
Thus, the entry of food chains into the mobile arena with market-disrupting prices introduces exceptionally aggressive competition, allowing consumers to save hundreds or even over a thousand shekels on the sought-after device compared to traditional retailers.
