During remarks made by Caspit on air, Megel’s anger flared over his statements; he suddenly stood up from his seat and walked directly toward the sound station. Megel turned off the switch connected to Caspit’s microphone himself and silenced him.
The move left the production team stunned. The program editor immediately intervened from the control room in an attempt to regain control, shouting at Megel on air:
"No, no, no. Inon, enough. Don’t interfere with the technician. Take your hands off. This doesn’t go on air; we don’t behave like this."
Megel refused to be swayed by the editor’s calls and continued to insist on his position:
"If you don’t shut his mouth, I’ll shut it. I’ll shut your mouth, Ben," he said aggressively.
In light of the rapid escalation and the tense atmosphere in the studio, the editor tried to take the program to an early commercial break to calm things down. Megel openly opposed the move and demanded that the broadcast continue: "I’ll speak now." At the same time, Caspit tried to continue his remarks to respond to the incident, but his voice was not heard at all because his microphone remained disconnected.

The two, representing opposing ends of Israel’s political and public discourse, conduct daily heated confrontations that often make headlines.
In the past, the studio has seen mutual boycotts, broadcast walkouts, and threats of defamation lawsuits, but an incident in which a host stood up and physically disconnected his colleague’s equipment from the technician’s position is considered an unprecedented crossing of a red line in the program’s history.
