Infant Hospitalized in Bnei Brak After Suffering Severe Bleach Burns
A 10-month-old infant was hospitalized in moderate condition with severe bleach burns covering 30% of her body following a domestic accident in Bnei Brak.

A serious and concerning incident occurred last night in Bnei Brak: a ten-month-old infant was evacuated to the hospital in moderate condition after suffering significant chemical burns from bleach inside an apartment on Ben Zakai Street. Emergency forces rushed to the scene around midnight, provided urgent initial medical treatment, and transferred her to the trauma room at the Sheba Medical Center in Tel HaShomer.
According to the Magen David Adom (MDA) hotline report, the emergency call was received at 00:18. Paramedics from the "Hatzolah" rescue organization arrived first at the scene and reported that the infant suffered second-degree burns across roughly 30% of her body. Medical teams provided immediate field stabilization before hospital transport.
Following the tragic domestic accident, rescue organizations are once again urging the public to exercise extreme caution. Officials emphasized that cleaning supplies and hazardous chemical materials must never be left within reach of toddlers and young children, even for a single moment, to prevent future household catastrophes.
