Officers of the Lev Tel Aviv police station in the Yarkon district have solved a serious violent incident that occurred near the "Kumran" restaurant of chef Moshik Roth, on HaArba'a Street in Tel Aviv. The incident involved the stabbing of two minors who were not connected to the event. Yesterday, a prosecutor's statement was filed against the main suspect.

On July 22, 2026, during the night hours, police received a report regarding a fight near the restaurant on HaArba'a Street. Two young residents of Tel Aviv were evacuated for medical treatment with their condition defined by medical personnel as light and moderate.

Officers of the Lev Tel Aviv station arrived at the scene, conducted extensive searches, and began collecting evidence. At the beginning of the investigation, two suspects were arrested for involvement in the fight.

On July 27, 2026, the main suspect in the stabbing, a 25-year-old resident of Kiryat Ekron, was arrested, and the knife was seized in his possession. During the investigation, police collected evidence linking the suspects to the wounding of the minors.

The arrest of the stabbing suspect was extended multiple times. Yesterday, a prosecutor's statement was filed against him at the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court, alongside an intention to file a serious indictment and a request for detention until the end of proceedings. The two additional suspects were placed under house arrest by the court.

The mother of a 16-year-old girl who was wounded in the incident said:

"These people were walking around with a knife, they cut her 20 centimeters long and five centimeters deep - a girl went to eat dinner. People do not walk in the evening with knives in their pockets. My daughter was not involved in this event, these monsters wounded my daughter. She has no connection whatsoever with these scum of the earth."

On behalf of Moshik Roth, it was stated: "No comment." On behalf of the Kumran restaurant, it was stated in response:

"We clarify firmly that what is stated in the article is not true. If such an event occurred, it happened when the restaurant was closed and outside its walls. There is no connection between the incident and the restaurant."
