Fire in an apartment in Ramle: Three children rescued
Fire and rescue teams from the Ayalon station conducted searches in the building to rule out trapped individuals, during which they identified a pair of parents and three children trapped in an apartment on the floor where the fire started. The firefighters safely rescued the trapped individuals using rescue masks under smoke conditions. A total of six rescued individuals were transferred for further treatment.
During a fire that broke out today, Monday, in an apartment in Ramle, fire and rescue teams from the Ayalon station conducted searches in the building to rule out the presence of trapped individuals. During the operation, they identified a pair of parents and three children trapped in an apartment on the floor where the fire started. The firefighters safely rescued the individuals using rescue masks under heavy smoke conditions.
A total of six rescued individuals were transferred for further treatment by medical teams on the scene. The firefighters are continuing operations for final extinguishing, building-wide searches, and ventilation of the apartments.
The incident commander, Reshef Shalom Davidovich, stated:
"Upon our arrival at the scene, we identified that the source of the fire was in the electrical cabinet on the first floor of the building, as the smoke spread rapidly to the stairwell. The firefighters acted to rescue the trapped individuals and transfer them safely to the medical teams on the scene."
