Jumped from a Moving Car and Escaped Assassination: "He Was Given a New Life, 12 Bullets Fired"
A young man returning from a wedding in northern Israel managed to open the passenger door and escape while an armed assailant on a motorcycle fired at least 12 bullets at him. Footage shows the vehicle continuing to move without a driver as the gunman pursues the victim. Two suspects have been arrested.

A young man from the Azayza family in the local council of Daburiyya in the Northern District escaped an assassination attempt two days ago while returning from a wedding, after more than 12 bullets were fired at him.
In chilling footage of the incident, he is seen abandoning his vehicle through the passenger door and fleeing on foot, moments after two suspects on a motorcycle stopped next to him and one of them opened fire. A security camera documented the entire event: the motorcycle emerges from the left and one of the suspects, armed with a pistol, opens fire. Even before the motorcycle came to a stop, the gunman dropped the pistol on the road. Immediately afterwards, he is seen picking up the weapon and continuing to fire. At the same time, the young man is documented opening the vehicle door and fleeing, while the vehicle continues to move slowly. The gunman began a pursuit and continued to try to hit the target even after he realized the victim was no longer in the vehicle.
The young man's relatives said:
"He was on his way home after leaving a wedding when a motorcycle with two people on it approached him and one of them fired at his car."
Three of the bullets were fired while he was in the vehicle, and at least nine additional bullets were fired after he managed to get out and began his escape. His relatives added: "He escaped death and was given a new life. The incident reflects the danger of the spread of weapons and violence, and emphasizes the need to put an end to rampant crime."
Police officers arrived at the scene and collected evidence as part of an investigation. So far, the police have arrested two people suspected of riding the motorcycle and attempting to assassinate the young man.
