Arrived with a knife at the factory where his ex-partner works – and was caught on a bus

Police officers from the Sdot station in the Sharon region arrested a foreign national last week who allegedly arrived at a factory in Kadima-Zoran, where his ex-partner works, armed with a knife. After fleeing the scene, he was located shortly thereafter hiding on a bus.

The investigation reveals that an employee at the factory noticed the suspect and asked him to leave. According to the suspicion, the suspect refused, pulled a knife from his bag, and began waving it. In response, the employee drew his personal weapon, and the suspect fled the scene while discarding the knife. Police officers from the Sdot station immediately began searches and conducted investigative actions that led to the location and arrest of the suspect. His detention was extended from time to time in accordance with the needs of the investigation. Upon completion of the investigation, the prosecution unit of the Central District filed an indictment against him.
