A 26-year-old resident of Bu'eine Nujeidat was caught driving a vehicle despite his license having been revoked by the court, while he was serving community service for a previous traffic offense. His arrest was carried out after police officers tracked his driving using a drone and documented him driving through the town.

The incident occurred on August 10 during the night hours, after the police received information that the young man was continuing to drive a vehicle even though his license had been revoked and he was currently serving community service as an alternative to imprisonment.

Following the information, officers of the Northern District operated in the town, with the assistance of the Traffic Division and the Northern District's drone unit. During the operation, the young man was observed getting into a vehicle and starting to drive, and the drone team followed him from the air and documented his journey.

A few minutes later, after, according to the police, he suspected he had spotted a police force, the driver stopped the vehicle on the sidewalk and exited it through the passenger seat, in an attempt to mislead the officers. The forces arrested him on the spot. The young man was transferred for questioning, and at the end of a rapid investigation process, an indictment was filed against him in the Traffic Court in Nof HaGalil-Nazareth, along with a request for his detention until the end of legal proceedings.
