"He did great things, but I would have done it differently": Minister Eli Cohen more exposed than ever

The initiative offers an unmediated glimpse into familiar figures through their hobbies, with the goal of revealing the faces behind the image and the suits.
This time, Robinson met with Minister of Energy Eli Cohen (Likud) on a basketball court in his childhood neighborhood in Holon. During a one-on-one game, the two talked about their love for sports ("I have been playing basketball with the same people since I was 12 or 13") and the expectations ahead of the primaries in his party ("The expectation is to be in the top five").
"We have a wonderful people, and I say to the media: do not praise politicians, praise the people," added Cohen. "I get up in the morning for work." On the question of whether he is satisfied in his position, he answered in the affirmative but said: "Next time I want to be in the Ministry of Finance. Minister Bezalel Smotrich did great things, but I would have done things differently." The minister also spoke about the song that makes him happy in the car, the food that is a "guilty pleasure" for him, the politician from the other camp he would be happy to sit with for a beer, and when was the last time he cried ("It breaks your heart").
