The IDF has deployed reinforcements across all sectors ahead of Yom Kippur under the directive of Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir. Additional combat companies will join forces already deployed in the Northern, Central, and Southern Commands, with a senior commander present in each sector throughout the holiday.
The Israeli Air Force has increased its number of armed aircraft, while the Navy has expanded its missile boat fleet and reinforced routine security vessels along maritime borders.
Simultaneously, reserve companies capable of redeploying between commands have been reinforced, and General Staff readiness levels have been established for each sector. The Home Front Command will maintain a duty general at headquarters, alongside duty district commanders.
The IDF emphasized that these forces are additions to the existing order of battle in each sector rather than replacements for current deployments.
