IDF Launches Surprise Home Front Command Drill Amid Southern Lebanon Strikes
The IDF Home Front Command launched a surprise nationwide drill this morning, while overnight strikes hit southern Lebanon and US President Trump addressed Iran.
An unannounced Home Front Command drill began this morning at multiple locations across the country, according to the IDF spokesperson. Authorities confirmed there is no security threat.
The joint inspection by the Technology and Logistics Directorate and the Home Front Command will continue until noon. Movement of security forces, military medical teams, and vehicles will be noticeable in various regions.
Meanwhile, overnight strikes were reported in southern Lebanon, specifically targeting Zawtar el-Charkieh. In Washington, U.S. President Donald Trump told reporters he hopes the conflict involving Iran is nearing its end.
