In a strike yesterday in the Deir al-Balah area, the military killed Jaber Makbal, a terrorist in the military wing who led the 'Makbal' currency exchange network. Through this network, millions of shekels in foreign funds were funneled to Hamas to finance terrorists, rebuild military infrastructure, and advance terror plots against Israeli forces.
In a separate strike yesterday in the Khan Yunis area, the IDF eliminated Hamas sniper Hasan Albata.
The military noted that the operatives had recently advanced terror plots against IDF troops and Israeli civilians while working to rehabilitate the organization's capabilities in systematic violation of the ceasefire. Both were targeted from the air to remove the immediate threat.
